Keeping Baby Cool At Night

DS is 14 months and the poor little thing is sweating in his cot. The thermometer says it's 28 degrees in there. The window is open, the fan is on, he has no sheets or clothes. His body feels cool but his head is sweating. He is sleeping happily and not fidgeting but I'm still worried about him. Is there anything else I can do to cool him down?

I'm worried about this aswell! poor little things, I have window open, keep blinds shut during the day to keep cool. apart from doing what you are doing I can't think of anything else

Same with DS 7 months. I've had the fan on full for an hour and just lifting him up now.

It's a shame for the little ones but they will be fine.

I'm taking some comfort from the fact he's sleeping happily. I guess at this age if he was unhappy he'd soon tell me.

I kept mine in just a nappy and had a fan on low. Then once it was dark, opened his door to air the room a bit.

I kept DS in just a nappy, too. I had the fan on full and both windows wide.

I also had some boiled, cooled water to hand in the fridge and just brought it to room temp for his preference and he drank loads of it through the night.
