Reflux in 2 day old baby?

Hi
Is this even possible? Every time I put my two day old newborn down last might she made a strangled type choking noise and screamed after about 10 minutes. Eventually he slept on me upright and seemed to prefer it.
My first had reflux but not where near this early.
Also another's question apart from infacol and gripe water any other medications I can use that aren't from a doctor?

Think until you can get to a doctor I would try holding baby upright for at least 30 mins after feed and Hv told me to tilt the Moses basket but you'd need to google that now sure how much etc. when you are able to get baby to docs infant gaviscon is good

I don't see why it wouldn't be possible - it could just be that you recognize the symptoms this time around.

I knew in first week with DD having recognised symptoms starting after DS previously being refluxy.

I told medical people and got brushed off until about week three when they became obvious enough to convince medical people.

Trust your instincts you know your baby and I believe that you know if they are struggling.
