Restless baby at night...... Driving me mental!

Our gorgeous 10wk old DS goes down to sleep well at about 7pm, sleeps peacefully during the evening but from anytime after 12am he fidgets, slams his legs up and down, writhes around and had a good moan....all with his eyes shut and seemingly asleep.
He uses a dummy to get to sleep but this normally falls out once he is in a deep sleep and doesn't disturb him.
Whilst he behaving like this though, if I can get him to have the dummy it tends to settle him, until it falls out again and then it just starts over.
He also relaxes and settles if I pick him up and just cuddle him.... Not very practical to keep doing all night.
I should say that he is swaddled as his flailing arms prevent him from falling asleep in the first place.
FYI, he generally wakes for a feed about 1am and then 'sleeps' until about 6am.
I am considering putting him in his own room early as maybe he is fine and its just us who is having a bad nights sleep listening to it!?
Any ideas?

We had to swaddle our twins and dts1 used to make loud snuffling noises when sleeping and try to wiggle around but he never woke him or his twin up. DH is a light sleeper and it used to wake him up but dts1 self settled himself so no need to comfort or move him.

If he doesn't wake up and you're comfortable putting him in his own room. Then you could try it.

Thanks multiple our DS1 went in own room about 16 weeks but I do feel a bit nervous tbh this time as he is a bit younger. Although I can't carry on with the general disturbance as it is knackering me out :/
