Tiny car, car seat query please!

Hi all, hope this is the correct place to post query... I have a Toyota Aygo 3 door (I know, not the most family friendly car in the world!) and wondering how to jiggle a forward facing toddler seat/or booster seat with a rear facing baby car seat, with potentially a pram as well!

Does anyone have any advice re putting the toddler in the passenger seat next to me? I can turn the airbag off. Understand that it's not as safe as having toddler in back, but does anyone have any experience of this as an option? Thank you!

not a direct answer to the question, but can you use an inflatable BubbleBum booster seat to give you more space in the back for the toddler seat?

Have a look at car seat websites. We had to get rid of our old car when ds1 arrived as the car seat websites said a car seat wouldn't fit properly.

I have an aygo (but the five door one) I had DS in the front with me with the airbag turned off when he was in his rear facing car seat and now I have him in the back in his britax now he's facing forward. We easily get out silver cross umbrella buggy in the boot.

Thanks for all your responses...I can fit my Britax toddler seat and baby seat both in back just v little space for anything else! Sure I'll come up with the best combo with a bit of jiggling!

I had a lovely fiat 500 and fitted in a maxi cosy rear facing then later a maxi cosy forward facing for DC1 as well as a Quinny buzz in the boot (with one wheel popped off). It was all fine til she was around 2 and DC2 was on his way & I had to bid goodbye to it in place of a 5 door!

I would go and have a try with different seats in one if the big stores. I had a 3 door micra (the older ones that were smaller) when mine were small, routinely had baby and toddler seat in and then two toddler seats. That was great actually as the seats flipped forward and you had plenty of space to do up belts. On one occasion I got another two children with seats in (booster and toddler?) with a bit of fiddling and arranging and rearranging perfectly safely.

I had an aygo as a courtesy car, a while back.

I turned the air bags off and out rear facing in the front seat with the double buggy folded behind that seat, and put my britax eclipse/ toddler seat behind me.

it was a squash but it worked.
