Help! first time user! son aspergers getting worse! dau is a teen!

Hello,not sure of my way round here yet so bear with me.Could do with advice,waiting for son to be diagnosed with aspergers -been fighting since he was 2 he is now 13!! appt at hosp aug! senior school agree (finally) Prob atm is geting him to go to sleep,all his routines take hrs & Daughter is 14 is being a pain in the arse teen! Feel like im not handling any of this well atm! Had to give up work feb this yr as was forever at appt or school ringing me bout daughter. Cor just writing this down feels good.Anyone same boat or advice they wanna share would b much appreciated.Michelle

Haven't got any advice but didnt want you to go unanswered. Think that if you post on the Special needs board you might get a few more replies. You could copy your post or ask MnHQ to move the thread, just press the report button

Hi there! Welcome to MN. The first few times I posted I didn't post in the right place (AIBU) & was completely put off! I'm glad I came back & tried again as there are SO many lovely people who are willing to offer advice & support when people in RL just don't understand how you're feeling.

I think JJJ is right, this may not be the right 'board' for your post & if it'd
s in the right place, you'll get some answers from people who know what you're coping with.

Your situation sounds very tough & I hope your August appointment gets you some answers & a way forward.
