Dummy/thumb-I know it's been done

I gave my dd a dummy when she had reflux to help soothe and settle her, taken to it, hasn't interfered with bf, she has now started sucking her thumb. I've been limiting the dummy but would rather she had that than her thumb. Does the dummy effect speech and teeth like a thumb?

Anything that means the jaws aren't closed properly all the time will affect teeth/jaw alignment. However, you can take a dummy away and should do so as early as you can IMO.
