My husband doesn't help w our little girl. He is disabled so doesnt work. My daughter is so defiant n his complete lack of involvement is wearing me down. I literally want to pull my hair out most times. Spanky pointless. No doesn't work. Time out...the laughable. I can't even take a shower n my husband keep n eye on her bcuz when I get out she has done gotten n2 be things.huge mess that could have been avoided had dad paid attention. I'm scared to go back to work cuz I can't trust him to actually watch her.n I don't have baby sitter no g-parents cuz they are to irresponsible n in trust worthy. Help!

being disabled should not be an excuse not to help out even if it is just being your eyes and ears when you are not around, is he lazy or can't be bothered? may be having a chat with relate might help, is there a friend or family member who could give you a bit of respite, taking you dd to the park with their child for a treat? this relationship seems to be wearing you right down and that is affecting your girl if push came to shove could you branch out with your daughter and leave? the mere thought of you leaving might motivate your husband to do something about it.
