18m old DD constantly has finger(s) up her nose!

Hi all.

For the last month or so 18m old DD seems to spend a significant amount of time with one or more fingers up her nose!

We're currently trying to ignore her but its not really making a difference and its starting to get a bit embarrassing when we're in public Blush. She's also managed to make it bleed a couple of times.

Does anyone have any thoughts as to why this might be and how to discourage it.

what is the air like in your home? low moisture levels could be causing her to ictch or she may have nasal allergies.

itch * p.s you could try sterimar spray which is a saline solution & is safe for use on babies from around 3months upwards.
