Since 3 my seven yr old has spat hurt other kids. At school he won't listen diesnt do rules and has hurt a chils everyday. Someone has to stick up for him, the teachers don't know what to do with him. He can't go on school trip. What can I do? He is awaiting to be assessed. In the meantime a parent has complained about him. You would not believe how loving he is. He was told to behave or can't go on trip and it's made him worse.

Haven't got any advice, just didnt want your message to go unanswered.

You say this has been going on since he was 3. Were there any changes in his life at that age?

The only thing I can think of is that you say he's waiting to be assessed - well often doctors/consultants etc have last minute cancellations - it might be worth you phoning the secretary of whoever he's waiting to see and asking to be put on stand-by in case of a cancellation.

Oh and the other thing is cahms - have you talked to them at all?

Is he being assessed thru school or your GP? What support does he get in the classroom now?
