Disrupted sleeping pattern after being ill

My dd is 6 months and used to sleep from 8-8 = BLISS!!
However she became ill a few feels back with sickness and diarrhoea and used to wake herself up around 5ish by soiling herself and had to be changed, which led to her wanting a bottle.
This went on for a week whilst the diarrhoea lasted.
HOWEVER, the sickness has now passed and little madam thinks its still ok to wake around the same time! Before she was sick she used to wake and then fall back asleep easily however she's now so awake at that time (5-6am) and wants a bottle. This morning I tried to leave her but it was a whole hour of moaning and I had to get up.
She is also on 2 meals a day so it's not her letting me know she's hungry for food food.
Can anyone help me with advice on how to get her back into her old routine?
Thanks

I had similar with my son. He went from a great sleeper to a terrible one. In the end, we did sleep training and it took four nights to get him to sleep through again. It wasn't something that I enjoyed doing, but I can't say I regret it. I wish I hadn't left it until he was 11 months old!
