Hello my DD3 is EBF and is very clingy . She is only ever left with my mum/her daddy and that is when I'm at work. I have to go out next week and my friend is going to mind her for me for about 6 hours maybe longer . She has only ever really seen her a handful of times. I know she will scream blue murder at some point god help my friend will she be ok ?

She will be absolutely fine, just say good bye (don't just sneak off as this can make it worse next time) and then walk out. She can't scream for 6 hours and she won't remember it or hold it against you. Xxx

i promise she will be fine. my dd is similar. she is 13m and ebf and for the first time ever me and dh went out last night. my mum came round and i was dreading it as dd v clingy to me and feeds to sleep etc. won't be settled by anyone else etc. well she settled for mum within 10 mins apparently!!! no crying or anything!!!
me thinks we are being had!!
