My toddler refuses to interact with her uncle any tips?

She used to cry whenever she saw him now she won't make eye contact and just buries her head in the nearest cushion\ person when he enters the room. It's getting a bit awkward and all attempts to get her to interact with him have failed. He is mildly autistic, not sure if that is relevant but desperately trying to bond.

Don't try to make her or even mention it. When he arrives, greet him yourself and then leave her alone. Don't allow him to "persue" her in any way at all.

She needs to be able to indicate the people she is comfortable around and those she is not. She may warm to him later when she is older...she may not. My DD hated MIL for a year! She loves and adores her now.
