...and don't you just love the way they can make a complete stranger smile just by walking past with their wonderful swagger.

ds has taken to picking flowers and giving them to random ladies - usually makes them very happy! He also has taken to giving me lovely kisses right on the mouth - I'm not sure I want him to start doing that to random women just yet!

Twinkie1 · 25/05/2006 20:08

DS is just over 18 months and swinging between being adorable and the spawn of satan so I am hoping in a few months he catches up and is as nice as your lot!!!

GREENY · 26/05/2006 12:00

My DS is 20 months born on September 11th of all days!! He is absolutely adorable just wish he would think of a new word other than "Hiya" to everybody who walks past!! Grin even when he's in the car! Smile

Just starting to "try" and walk which I was a little worried about but he's quite big for his age.
says "raaaar" for a lion but only one he will say, oh and "ah ah" for a duck!!

DS is also 20mths, born on 24th Sept. He must be doing job share with Twinkle1 ds as he also flips between devil spawn and total angel. Getting lots of words, totally and completely obsessed by balls of all shapes and sizes.

I know this thread is almost three years old but it just sums up how I feel about 19 month old DD at the moment. So I thought I'd add to it.

Her favourite thing is getting me and DH to stand at different ends of the coridoor and then taking it in turns to run full pelt at us with arms open for an "'ug".

She has been practising the Cat from Shrek big eyes, which can make complete strangers part with icecreams, biscuits and other treats for free.

Watching her trying to wink is just fantastic.

I work four days a week and feel progressively lighter and happier the closer I get to home on my journey after work.

unrepentent mum love.

Aww that's so sweet, I love this thread but it never mentions all the shrieking, screaming and crying tantrums that we endure. Yes it's a sweet age but it can be damn infuriationg too! My ds is 20 months and his favourite word is 'NO'. He does give the best squeezy cuddles though and and says 'duddle' with his fat little arms up when he wants one. He also asks for a 'diss' when he wants a kiss which is very cute. Then he goes and spoils it but screaming and crying when it's time to get dressed or come in from the garden or not climb on the sofa etc etc etc.

savageisfat · 22/04/2009 08:48

He is still the cutest boy in the world though lol!
