DD showing knickers at school

Dd's teacher called me aside after school and mentioned it to me im mortified any idea how to deal with this? Have told her she will be wearing leggings to school under her uniform in future if she keeps it up she's not happy about it but what else can I do?

How old is she? If she's 4, I would just tell her it's not appropriate, and make sure she had nice pants.

If she's 14, it's a bit different.

She's 6

My dd (7) thinks its hilarious to flash her knickers sometimes too. I think it's the same innocent cheekiness as her younger siblings finding the word poo endlessly amusing. I'd say you are doing completely the right thing by explaining its not acceptable behaviour but personally I wouldn't worry too much. Normal boundary testing.

Are they particularly exciting ones? If so, maybe you need to buy her boring white knickers until further notice.

There is nothing wrong with what she did and you have nothing to feel mortified about. It is a perfectly normal piece of behaviour at this age. Just explain to her that it is not the kind of thing you do at school even if you think you have the best pants in the whole world.

When I was 6 we had two main playground games when we played with boys (ewwww! ). Kiss-chase and knicker-chase. You can probably guess the rules.

Lol three dudes its just everytime I see teacher approaching its like oh no . She is always givin out about dd she lacks concentration etc also she told me to have her seen by GP before easter as she thinks there is an underlying cause to her behavior! Doc said nothing wrong shes a normal 6 year old, teacher queried me yesterday on whether I had brought her and I told her what he said she said well I can only tell you what I think (in a stroppy tone)anyway it really pissing me off plus I may be pregnant(early) with no.3 I was happy enough about this till I had teacher in my ear now its like what have I done can I really cope with another although ds(4) is grand little fella so far!

Perfectly normal behaviour! Obviously the teacher has to discourage it, but if ever I had to speak to parents about it I always reassured them it was nothing to worry about.

Our primary dds just used to put pe shorts on as they spent most of yrs 1 and 2 upside down flashing their knickers

My dd1 was always upside down at primary school. She used to put her pe shorts on under her skirts. I only know this because she rarely remembered to take them off again after lunchtime and so she would come home in them. Then she would forget to take them back in and so would "borrow" someone else's... Which then resulted in us having a collection of shorts to take back ranging from the whole school!

If it's a problem could you get her some trousers?
