What makes your dc laugh?

Not really sure where to post this.
My ds 10 months absolutely loves it when I pretend to sneeze. He particularly gets giggly when I go 'ahh tissue'.
I love his laugh and it makes me feel all warm inside to see him so happy (pass the suck bucket I know).

Just wanted to know what makes your dc laugh and brightens your day, even when they have tried your patience.

DS is 2.5yo and yesterday got the belly laughs when i copied the sound of the stones he was throwing into the water depending on their size. Little stone = "plip!" Big stone = "Plop!" Lots of stones = "Plip, plip, plop, plop, plip!" He thought it was hilarious. The day before that he got the giggles knocking over a toy giraffe with a ball and then kissing it better.

Matana aww that's too cute and very funny. The things they find amusing are just surprising and lovely. It probably isn't by the time they are teenagers tho

Funny faces etc. (no real pattern to which one would work on a given day!) when DD was really little. Now she's a bit older (3.6) she will sometimes start chuckling out of the blue because she's remembered something she found funny, which is really cute! So this morning on the way to nursery she started to describe a bit from Ice Age that she'd found particularly funny, and then started chuckling away again just from remembering it .

Oh yes my DS also loved us pretend sneezing for ages! Especially if you ham it up a lot and go "Ah, ah, ah.... achooooooo!" He also went through a phase of laughing if we said "CD" for some reason!

At the moment the stuff that will get him in stitches is pulling a face and going "bleeeeeeeeeeurgh" (which I was doing to try and get the point across that he couldn't play with the bag of wipes, because they were dirty). So now he points at the bag of used wipes and goes "bluuurgh" himself, so funny.

This morning he was having a stop having his nappy changed and trying to pull his onesie down over himself so I couldn't get access. So I started saying "where is your belly button?" while trying to pull the front of the onesie up. He kept pulling it back down and I kept saying "where is your belly button?" which had him hysterical with laughter.

It's so lovely when they laugh isn't it?

My DS thinks its funny when I fall over or drop things aor make my eyes go cross eyed and do a cheeky monkey walk on my my knees...!

Pulling socks off, hers or ours, and wrapping them around her head. And the pet ferret trying to pull off her socks. She loves picking up shoes and wearing them as gloves. A shoe fetish already at one year old!

Slapstick ... mine always love it if I pretend to walk into an open cupboard door or fall off a chair.

DD (13mo) just learned how to play peepo:

She'll inexpertly cover herself with snuggle bunny/mum-mum's dressing gown/plate/whatever's to hand (with most of her person sticking out of said object), we will exclaim "goodness, where has DD gone, she has completely vanished" etc..., DD will go for the big reveal and laugh like a drain.

Don't think I could ever get bored of it!

Some of these are so funny! The things that make them laugh are mental. I can't wait for when my ds talks he can tell me why something is so funny (am sure it will be just as mad).

A couple of nights ago, it was dropping a bath-toy in the bath from a height, so it splashed DS (10 months). Laughed and laughed and laughed.
The next night, nada. Instead, it was saying 'ma-na-ma-na....doo-doo-di-doo-doo' (think muppets) over and over. You feel like the king of the world when you make them laugh so much, don't you?

Today it has been me stomping around the flat pretending to be a T-Rex, pausing and looking everywhere except at ds, slyly making eye contact at him then grinning, then stomping away again.

Yesterday it was the bit in Pixar's 'For the Birds' when the big bird blows a feather away from his face.

Also singing that 'ds is a stinker', which is both funny AND true.

When the olympics was on I remember my then 18 month old DD laughing her head off at the gymnastics!
