Mini-me daughters

I used to think women with proper little mini-me daughters were a bit self-obsessed to be honest. But now I have a daughter (DD is 26 months) I realise that all of it comes from them! Who knew? Everything is 'like Mummy's' said with so much pride, bless her. She has a few things - the size 6 Converse All Stars, Mummy's silk kimono in miniature. It's flattering, and very sweet. Although I did catch her almost poking her eye out with a pair of nail scissors having seen me with the old eyelash curlers. Oops!

What mini-me things do your little girls do? And at what age do they no longer think that Mummy is COOL. (weeps)

I know...I look at my DDs and they're like younger versions of me in terms of style right down to the converse!

They have the same hairdo as me...long with a fringe...and like similar prints on their clothes....similar taste in all matters. I do encourage them to choose some clothes themselves but they always pick what I would.

My 18 month old daughter loves to put my makeup on with hilarious results and has been doing this for a few months. I have a cream blusher/lipstick in one and she puts it all over herself, me, anyone else who is around. Obviously I wipe it off straight away. It looks so cute though.

Oh yes, DD "does" her make-up, checks her emails, goes shopping (in the living room) with an empty Liberty bag she's kept. She's really motherly too though, which is super cute. I've caught her putting her teddies to bed and singing twinkle, twinkle and telling them that they MUST stay in bed ALL NIGHT...
