second teeth

My dgs was 6 in September and he lost the first of his baby teeth in August [top middle].He has now lost 4 at the top and 4 at the bottom.The two middle ones at the bottom are through but there is no sign of the top ones.Is this normal?I don't want to sound like a fuss budget and he recently had a check up at the dentist.I just wondered how long it usually took for them to come through.

My DS's teeth were already through underneath where all his baby teeth have come out. However there has been a boy in his class whose teeth fell out at the beginning of year 1 and he's in year 2 now.

They can take a while but I would take an X-ray to check there was nothing stopping them coming through, like extra teeth.
