Activities for toddler that puts everything in his mouth

I am struggling to think of interesting activities to do with my toddler as he still is wanting to put everything in his mouth. Drawing is no good as he chews the crayons, pens. Same with play dough. Gluing was no good either as he just wanted to chew on the glue.

We do play with sand as he stopped eating this. We also read books and I just put them away before he has time to chew them. We also do blocks, cars etc as it doesn't matter so much if he chews these.

Could you maybe do some baking so it won't matter if he eg eats raw cake mix? And with warmer weather coming up, a water table is great or maybe even filling a bowl/sink with water for a splash!

My 23mo also loves building train tracks & playing with trains. And cars with bigger wheels will be suitable for toddlers that like putting things in their mouths.

Do you sing with him? Mine loves a singing session & will sit for a good half an hour or so doing actions.

Finally, I find the best way of all to entertain my toddler is to get out & about! Walks to the park/shops, splashing in puddles, toddler groups, playdates with friends, going to grandparents' houses...

Hope I have given you some ideas
