My little girl is 9 weeks old and since yesterday afternoon she's been sleeping loads and when she's awake she's crying, she's even crying through her feeds. What's wrong???? Hmm

Trust your instincts. Doctors do not mind seeing babies, regardless of if something is wrong or not. It could be anything, or indeed nothing. Babies do cry though they tend not to do so all the time... so trust your instinct.

Tense or bulging soft spot?
High Temperature?
Breathing fast / difficulty breathing?

Blotchy skin, getting paler or turning blue? Blueness to lips?
'Pin prick' rash / marks or purple bruises on the body?

Those sorts of symptoms are to be worried about, there are no doubt other symptoms as well for various illness. These sorts of things need to be seen urgently, go direct to A&E at this time of night (assuming you are in the UK).

Is she passing urine (wet nappy)? Has she done a poo recently? Is she feeding, or not really taking much? Is she burping well during/after feeding?

If you are worried, contact GP Out of Hours service (call your GP's number, it will often divert to out-of-hours service or the number will be on the answerphone message).

Went to A&E in NHS directs advice, she was treated for dehydration but they don't know why she was dehydrated.
