3 year old clumsily stomping over things. Is it normal at this age?

Cousin has a 3 year old DD....she comes over a lot as they live close by. Her DD is a "young" 3 and an only too.

She seems very unconcerned about where she's walking iykwim.

She'll just stomp over my DC's toys....so DD had a dolls house out...only plastic but with loads of furniture, usually we'd put it all away if we knew little one was visiting but. Cousin visited unexpectedly....the little one comes in and keeps walking over the toys in her boots....I just said "Pick those things up now DD"

The little thing seems unaware somehow...she often does it....just crunches over anything that's on the floor....she's also got a habit of getting into people's space too much.

She's only just three if that makes a difference.

I would guess that her parents have never told her not to stomp over toys so she doesn't know it's wrong!
When I opened the thread though, I thought it would be about clumsiness in toddlerhood, which I think can happen if they have a bit of a growth spurt and 'forget' where the edge of their body is, IYSWIM Grin apparently the same thing happens to teenagers when they have a fast growth spurt Smile

Oh, just read the bit about getting into people's space too much... I've never met a just three year old who has a concept of personal space yet Confused
