Just realised how to scream!!

My 5 week old lb seems to be making good use of his lungs, as when he needs our attention, he no longer cries, he seems to scream like the world is coming to an end!! Its the kind of screaming where you are waiting for him to take a breath! It stops as soon as we tend to his needs and he becomes perfectly content again. Is it normal for him to behave and be up and down like this? It makes me worry that maybe he is unwell as its only just started happening.

I must add that we obviously attend to his straight away and do not leave him to scream!

My Daughter is 7 weeks we had exactly the same around 4 weeks. We took DD to the GP we were so confused but there was no medical concern perfectly healthy. With my DD it seems shes found her voice and realised how to use it, so every need she has she wants it fixed urgently and screams to her hearts content. As long as your son seems satisfied when you give him what he wants I wouldnt worry too much, I'm just hoping she grows out of it soon!

So glad to hear that! He's goes from screaming the house down to content like he's never made a peep in a matter of seconds. It's just quite upsetting to see him like that and I couldn't help but think he's in pain or feeling unwell. He's obviously just utilising his vocal chords!! Thank you both, that's really reassuring x
