Dd used to sleep through or get up once. Settled herself at 7pm and went through to 8am, for last month she has been different. Up at least 3 times a night and difficult to put down. Seems very clingy atm and front teeth cutting,

At whits end, don't know what to try, any ideas?

How old is she? If she's teething then all bets are off in terms of sleeping because she'll be feeling rotten and need you more than usual. If still breastfed then I'd say feed back to sleep.

Sorry, just seen her age is in the thread-title - is she still having night feeds? Does she settle back to sleep if you cuddle/rock her?

Lucky you that she used to sleep so well! My DS woke me hourly most nights until he was 18. No exaggeration. I was worn out from it. I felt it would never end. I eventually used techniques from the book The No Cry Sleep Solution and by aged 2 it was down to 2 or 3 times. Only now he's 2.4 is he starting to sleep for longer stretches. But even now if he gets a cold or is feeling unwell due to teething or such he'll wake several times a night. But it's so much better than before and I know any changes are probably just temporary. He finally sleeps!
The fact that your LO used to sleep well probably means she will again once this phase passes. Teeth can be very painful. Best of luck with it. I know how exhausting sleepless nights are!
