Does your 4 year old fall down a lot?

My dd2 was 4 a couple of months ago. She is very energetic and bouncy and is always hopping, jumping, skipping etc. She does not walk. If not hopping etc she runs everywhere, inside and out but she is always falling over.

She has only had one really bad fall where she didn't manage to get her arms in front of her and got a very nasty bump to the head.

It drives me mad though. She doesn't ever seem to sit down.

When she is eating she keeps sliding off the chair.
If I say 'stop hopping' she says she is not hopping but skipping and vice versa.

It doesn't help that dc1 has been ill a lot this winter so we haven't got out as much as I would like. I suppose it is just pent up energy.

Any ideas how to handle it?

I have no idea, DS is like this too. I got him a scooter.

She has a scooter - she falls off that too Grin
