10mo development and sleep

My gorgeous 10mo DS has learnt to do about a million things in the last two weeks: has mastered very fast crawling, getting there with cruising, learning new sounds, pulling himself up onto things etc and his naps have gone to pot!! He settles ok for his morning one at the moment as he's waking quite early, but his afternoon one has gone by the wayside in the last week. He just crashes about, fidgets in his cot, pulls himself up and is talking to himself but is clearly shattered. Will this calm down? It's driving us both mad! He's taken an hour to settle for the last three days.

I am currently sitting with 10mo DS who has woken up and is being a nightmare to resettle. Fidgeting, wanting to hold hands, standing up, blowing raspberries....argh!

As the book says - Go the Fuck to sleep!

Have you borrowed my DS?! He's currently being very quiet Wink Do they grow out of this? (Please someone say yes...!)

Ha, yes we have raspberries, hand clapping, growling, purring and generally crashing around the cot like a mad baby!

DH looked after him today as I was working and he settled for both naps without a peep.

Grrrrrrrr
