How often does your 8th old boy wet bed?

I'd say ours is about once every two months. Sometimes it is understandable (e.g. Late night after cinema so drank lots near bedtime etc) but sometimes inexplicable. A bit concerned as realised the past 4/5 months it's become more of a monthly thing, is that normal or should I mention it to the doctor?

Ds2 8yrs old ds has not wet the bed in 2yrs, and the last time he did he hadn't wet the bed for about 3 yrs before that, that was the only time that yr. Ds1 on the other hand was still bed wetting probably like your ds at that age, he is now 12 and last bed wetted last yr, but that was the only time.

I dont think there is any 'standard' pattern to it, each child is different, ds2 was dry during the day within 24 hrs, ds1 took weeks. If you have any concerns at all pleaseby all means contact your GP, some areas run 'enuresis' clinics although your ds is still quite young., i would worry if its increasing rather than decreasing, but there may be reasons for it that you're missing? Is he drinking more water at night ? Sneaking out to drink when he shouldnt? Is he distressed about something? Is all okay at school?

My 7yr old has wet the bed 3 times since he was 4yrs old. I don't know if that's more"normal" or not, but I would be a little worried if it was once a month. Could be good reasons each time, but it does seem quite a lot. That's just my thoughts, tho, I have no actual knowledge on this

When mine was 8 yo it was about 5-6 times a week. Continued till he was 10 and then stopped. We had three of them doing it pretty much nightly for 6 years...Sad

My 8 year-old has not wet the bed since the first week he was out of night-time nappies about five years ago. My 6 year-old daughter, is, unfortunately, a different story ...

I am sure this is different with each child, but I think as Gunznroses suggests, that you need to think about anything different recently. Is he happy in school, etc?
My son is 5 1/2 and hasn't wet the bed since he was out of nappies at 20 months. I realise how lucky we are, but then we have other issues. Nobody is perfect and all children are different.
