Poo/Bath problems.

Few weeks ago we had a few poo in bath sagas with dd (2) not started potty training yet. Dd then had a bout of the runs. Shenow seems to dislike going in the bath I think she is scared of pooing as when in the bath this morning straight away said no no no, poo, poo, poo. Dp asked if she wanted to go to the toilet/potty, resulting in her getting increasingly upset. Only getting her feet wet.

We do no nappy time so its not that shes worried about having nothing on. Dd doesnt really have a certain time when she poos it is usually twice a day but can be one morning one evening or twice in the evening just before and just after dinner or three times etc so it is hard to try and time baths after she has pooed. She has eczema so we do baths twice ish a week. Any suggestions?

Presumably she's not getting that dirty at the moment so I'd cut baths down to once a week or less. At this age DD was having baths in the sink (or even just splashing about in four inches of water in the shower tray), so you may have more luck with a different location.

This is me a month or so ago. I'm happy to say that as a result of persevering (with smiley faces), sitting her on the toilet as the bath is running and a a couple of new bath toys, we're 90% of the way back to her old bath-loving ways!

Blowing bubbles whilst On The toilet helps too!
