Biting one particular child

Hi

I am at my wits end. My 2 year old started biting one particular child about 6 months ago but stopped after 3 months. It has started again but is only towards one particular child again. This child is a very feisty child and is aggressive towards other children. My little one only bites when the other child has provoked her, ie pushed her or scratched her. In a way I don't blame my child for lashing out as she only does it when provoked and not randomly and only towards this particular child but it is not acceptable behaviour to bite and I wish it would stop. It is getting to the point where I don't want to mix with this child to try and stop the biting.

What can I do!!

I would stop mixing with the other child otherwise you will need to helicopter and step in as soon as the other child makes a bee line for yours.

Hi ChristmasJubilee

Thanks for your reply. I think you might be right as it is only this child it happens with and I constantly hover over them to try and stop it happening! The only thing is I am very good friends with the mother so it will be really difficult to avoid them, but I may have to. Nightmare!
