And I listened as he told me it. He was pretending to read from a small book. I applauded him and told him it was great. Grandparents who came round later went wild, telling me he was amazing and being generally a bit OTT I thought.

So if I share my DS's story with you, will you tell me what you think?

Barcelona was a really long way
And the airplanes went there too.

There was a cheetah running very fast and the tortoise ran fast too.

The cheetah stopped running and the tortoise was running.

The end.

Thanks. Just after opinions really as the Grandparents always over-react to anything he does, but this time went really silly. I mean, I know his language is good but it all evens out over time doesn't it!

Lovely. But as you said, not remarkable. My DD1 was incredibly articulate..talking at one and in.full, complex sentences at 18 months..it does level out though, now DD is 8 she's average academically apart from literacy which is very advanced.. but she's still very articulate.
