sudden fussiness in my 6 week old

My 6 week old is usually very placid and content. Just over the past couple of days he has been very difficult to settle during the day and just cat napping during the day. He has just turned 6 weeks i was wondering if this could be a growth spurt. Would love some advice

Definitely sounds like a growth spurt, unless he's just had his 6 week jabs, in which case it will be that.

It's will happen regularly over the next few months, they are fine for a while and then have a few fussy days because of growth spurts. So long as he is still feeding, nappies are wet and dirty and no other health concerns then he should be fine.

So pleased to see your post my five week old girl is exactly how you've described ... shes very difficult to settle only cat naps as you say for 20-40 mins at a time and seems to be upset so easily eg nappy changes. this is out of character for her and I think she might be experiencing what your little boy is. How long has it lasted and what have you done thats soothed him?

Moo, moo he has been like this for the past 2 days or so. Just seen your post as i up with him now. I put him in his swing as he likes the motion of getting rocked or saddle him with a blanket. Have just put him in the bath and worked a treat! I hope that helps.
