DS2 will only nap on me...

DS2 is 4 months old & during the day refuses to nap anywhere but on me. Even if he's asleep if I put him down anywhere he wakes up almost immediately. I've tried laying him down with an item of my clothing but no joy. I can sling him but I'm starting to feel a bit stifled by it all. Also have a toddler (3 tomorrow) & juggling both of them on my lap is tricky. What else can I do?

I have an almost 4 month old exactly like that and have discovered that she'll nap in the car seat.I sometimes have to rock it and cover her eyes with my hand as I settle her in so theres nothing exciting to look at.

Worth a go?

Try warming up where you're putting him down with a water bottle first.

And sleeping in a buggy outside in the fresh air works WONDERS if you're garden is secure.

Did it with all if mine and just started doing it with my youngest. It's a godsend!

No car seat generally only works if we're actually in the car & moving. Will try buggy outside though, must be worth a go!
