My son missed his nap today. He had several short bursts of sleep but it got to about 5 and we didn't want him to nap as we felt it meant he wouldn't sleep tonight.
We tried to go to bed at 8.30 and he's just screamed continuously. At 9.45 we put him in the car and went to get petrol. He fell asleep but woke up as soon as we got home and took him out the car.
He then tantrumed for another half hour so we put him in his cot and he managed to wack himself in the mouth and start bleeding. He then breast fed and went to sleep. He has just woken up again. It's now midnight and he's been screaming for 15 mins. He had calpol before we came up to bed the first time.
Any suggestions?
