He's only been doing this for a few weeks but it is constant. He just turned 5 last week and hadn't shown any real interest before. I've tried telling him that he should only do it in private but a couple of seconds later he is doing it again. He doesn't put his hand down his trousers but seems to be almost pulling at his penis through his pants. I don't think he even knows he is doing it half the time. When I ask him if his penis is sore he says it just feels funny and he doesn't like it. I don't know what else to do. Any suggestions?
