Toddler sleep stress

Hi I have a 1yr 10month old and she's displaying some odd signs at night time. She goes to bed ok usually a little grumble about going to bed but within a couple of minutes is asleep, she gets minimum hours nap in the day. But once asleep she scratches the same point on her upper back, making it sore, grinds her teeth and is very restless. I slept in her room on the floor last night so I could se for myself how bad and she must have woken in excess of 20times, she ends up all over her bed, under cover on top of the cover. I have searched the net and can find no example where children do all three things. P.s she is a very happy easy to look after child.

Teething? That's when my little one grinds her teeth?

i agree with sarah, is she teething?? is her room too warm, blankets/duvet too hot or heavy for her, is she overtired going to bed therefore making her restless??
its hard when they are so young and not able to tell you whats going on, half the time you are chasing your tail and by the time you "think" you've got it sussed, they stop doing it and move on to something equally as mindboggling!!Confused
