even though she is 14 months dd2 just started drinking from a cup 2 days ago. For nearly 9 months she would just breastfeed, not able to take a bottle, cup, or spoon, gagging on all solids and drinks. I ahve never been able to leave her as I was afraid of her going thirsty, especially as she has only one kidney, even though people say she would take a bottle or cup or solids if hungry or thirsty enough, nobody could cope with her and trying to get her to was so stressful.

She finally started solids at nearly 9 months but still gags on lumpy foods although takes finger foods. And two days ago she picked up her sisters cup and drank and drank and drank!

ha ha - you could be me a year ago! I had to go away for 5 days before dd2 would consider drinking out of a cup.
