My 1 year old doesn't stop hitting.

My little girl is 19 months she's 2 in July and starts 15 hrs at nursery then.. But since she was very young she lashes out a lot and can't learn to share. She has a lot of cousins and her fathers nieces don't get taught to share toys so I'm wondering if that's maybe why? I've tried everything and nothing works and I dread her going to nursery and being the bully/having no friends. She huts a lot but when a child hits her back (which isn't often) she screams with temper and nights her things and smacks her head?? Any advise would be great.

No she's 19 months that's why! You can teach her how to be gentle - show her what that means by doing and saying it. Repeat repeat repeat.

Stick close to her and try and distract her or move her on before a situation escalates to hitting.
