Hurrah, at long last she has decided to walk (the lazy lump)

20 months old!

How lazy is that?

She staggered across the rug over the weekend and is now making tentative steps every now and then.

The look on her face is a mixture of delight and terror, hilarious.

dd1 however is now getting jealous and saying 'look I can walk too!' everytime and getting annoyed at the lack of attention.

xx

Well DD1 is going to have a lot of getting used to DD2 being into everything now isn't she? Glad she's got there though. Smile

Yes, I was starting to get obsessed, then pretending I wasn't bothered, then dragging her round by her hands saying 'come on, walk'. Must have driven her round the bend!

dd1 walked at 17 months so I blame dh for the lazy gene.....

Well done to her. I bet she will be running before you know and you will forget all about the initial delay and start worrying about where she has gone. All the girls in my family seem to be late. I am sure it is to give us a rest before we become women. She will be glad to sit down then.
