Bedwetting twins - feeling rather down

My 9 year old twins have never been dry at night. We started at the enuresis clinic in September and since then we have had some dry nights, some wet. We had a really good run over Christmas (one twin managed about 12 dry nights in a row, and the other was only wet twice during the same spell). Since then it has all gone downhill again. We started with desmomelts on Thursday. We did three nights of a single dose, and were both 100% wet. We have now done 2 nights on the double dose and both were wet both nights. I really thought the medicine might be the answer but it looks as though it isn't. I am dreading alarms (which would be the next step) because with two of them it is going to be so disruptive. My older daughter has her GCSEs coming up so I can't afford for her to have disturbed sleep.

I guess I am just feeling sorry for myself but from having quite a few dry nights it is now worse than ever and I can't see an end in sight.

Do the desmomelts have a cumulative effect, or should they work straight away?

Must be so tough for you. I am keeping my fingerscrossed that ds1 will be dry all by himself but we have a very strong family history so who knows. I am guessing you are aware of ERIC. I had a feeling they had a support group on the website but I may be confused (very little sleep and 3 DS - so easily confused!)

Sorry can't be of any more help.
