obsessive tidying

Hello - my just five year old has started obsessively tidy up, closing cupboards doors and generally being a little neurotic? Does anyone else have experience of this, or know anything about the causes? thanks

maybe the teachers are strict at school about this? ask the teachers what goes on at school. and ask him/her.

I'm sorry but all I can think is that I want your DC to live here and tidy all s/he wants.Grin

Just an idea but...Could be a control trigger. Has anything in your life changed lately? House move? Change of school? New member of family? Children with certain personality traits can behave this way when they feel the need to have some control over their life (where in other areas there is not)...
