Does your 2yo have a favourite cuddly?

I'm just interested because while DD loves her all teddies she doesn't have one favourite that she's attached to. I've always been quite proud of the fact that she seems totally secure and has never had a dummy/never sucked her thumb/no comfort blanket or anything like that.

This was in terms of sleep but an HV I saw recently said I should encourage her to have a favourite. She just doesn't seem interested. Will she later on?

i think that's a good thing to be honest
both my two year old and nearly six year old have special cuddlies, and it's a nightmare when they get misplaced

i meant a good thing not to have a special one IYSWIM

My dd has 'Lamby' and whilst its lovely it is a pita if we ever lose it.

No need to encourage her to have a favourite she will if she wants to.

Yes that's what I thought but this HV kind of made me question it. I guess she just meant as a prop too get her to self-settle. I remember as a child being devastated when I lost a favourite cuddly, but I must have been at least 3 or 4 for me to remember it.
