Hiccups help?

My 2 week old daughter seems to get really bad hiccups after her last feed of the evening when she's put in her cot. Is there anyway to stop or prevent this as it unsettles her and then it's very difficult to get her back to sleep.

Do you hold her upright after a feed?

You might just have a really hiccup prone child. DS1 still gets them daily at 15 months. He hiccuped in the womb throughout my pregnancy at least once a day and a lot of the time in his first six months. He also had reflux. We have tried lots of things, with no success.

I do hold her upright after her bottle, maybe not for long enough as I want to put her in her cot asleep so I can get some sleep??
