Our 13mo eats what we eat, mostly off Mummy's plate!
He loves: any pasta, lasagne, beef stew, cauliflower cheese (BBC food website has a very simple recipe), banana (unmashed, I just hold it as he munches his way through it! He eats a whole one!), baked beans, eggs, tuna with sweetcorn and tomatoes...
How about looking at the ingredients to a baby jar and making your own - you could eat it too. They should be quite detailed, eg: 1 onion, 1/2 large tomato, 2 chickens breasts, dash of olive oil... etc and perhaps work around that.
We often just steam him up some veg as well, he likes broccoli, couliflower and baby carrots (these we cut into small pieces). you can buy frozen veg and steam from frozen, much more money-saving.
Having said all that, he's often a fussy fanny and will only eat slices of cheese! trial and error!
Good luck.
