Looking for a non leak/spill cup for nighttime use

DS is 20mo and still has milk in the middle of the night in a bottle. I'd like to gently transition him away from this (tried going cold turkey and offering just water/comfort, it ends up in several hour screaming fests) and get him to drink from a cup instead to start with. For daytime milk we use the Tommee Tippee freeflow cups but they (obviously, as they're free flow) leak when turned upside down.

I've seen the "Tommee Tippee Easiflow Truly Non Spill" on amazon but there are no reviews. Also saw the "Tommee Tippee Explora Active Sipper" but not sure how suitable this is as a bottle replacement for nighttime (DS tends to lie down with his bottle).

I'm looking for non leak/spill cup recommendations that I can safely give to DS in his cot without finding the covers soaked in milk when he's done!

we use Avent bottles with the yellow spout (hard - called sports top ) or the green one which is softer

you can get it from Avent (phillips), check out website

mine have it lying down too.

We have the TT Activer Sipper - never had any leaks!

We've got an AnywayUp cup, they're great, you can shake it upside down and no spills. You can get them on Amazon.

No problems with the active explorer sipper at night here.

oneforthemoney · 18/01/2013 22:21

Both mine have had the active sipper for water in bed frlm 12 months with no leaks. Anyway up cup leaked for us in beds.

This Moo Cow Cup as DD calls it is excellent.

I used a tommee tippee non spill cup for my son.
Very ideal.

The tommee tippee explora active cup is fine for kiddy lying down with,
My boy still using it for bed now for if he wakes up for a drink threw the night rather than a normal cup and spilling it.

The Phillips Avent magic cup range are the only ones that don't leak IMO. They cost about 6 quid on Amazon.

Thanks for all your replies! Got an Explora Active one as I noticed they sell them at my local supermarket. Initial testing positive as DS has figured out how to drink from it and it seems fairly non-spill (apart from when you shake it it seems). Going to try it out with his milk overnight.
