Hi everyone
my little girl is 9 weeks old she s sleeping through the night about 10 hours and has done since birth. My question is how much should she sleep during the day at this age and should I still wake her every 3 hours for a feed in the day?
Thanks in advance for your advice x

I think at that age they tend to feed every 4 hours-ish. Although my daughter fed every hour and a half, and every four hours through the night. Hungry girl. Maybe check with your health visitor about whether you should wake her up as it's important they get enough nutrition at that age.

So the 3 hours she is going between feeds how long should she be awake/asleep for at this age?

Think it varies between babies. As long as she is bright and alert at times and gaining weight she should be ok. Not sure on the weight/ formula ratio. Is that correct amount?

Agree that you might want to wake her to make sure you get all your feeds in. Have you tried leaving her to see if she wakes?

She sometimes wakes for her feed and then doesn't nap again until after her next feed then other days she will be sleeping all day just waking to have feed. If I leave her to sleep then she sometimes goes up to 5 hours in between feeds in the day. But like you say it's best to wake her so she gets her 5 feeds in the day as she has none at night as she doesn't wake for any feeds.

Jus wondering if this is normal sleep behaviour/routine

Thanks x
