DD1 is getting a bit bonkers about mess or dirt. She LOVES cleaning things (give her a baby wipe and she's off scrubbing everything she can reach) which is sweet but sometimes it's obsessive. Last night she went nuts in the bath because she saw some marks in the bath tub and only calmed down once i poured some oilatum in the water and it went cloudy so she coul;dn't see the marks anymore.

I reckon this is pretty normal stuff but DH is worried that there's a bit more to it. Who's right?

sorry re typos. baby on lap.

My DD is 19 months and is the same, she cleans everything! Im making the most of it!

Apparently being aware of dirt and that it needs cleaned is a sign of being ready for toilet training - don't know if you fancy that yet though Smile

It's nice having to fight for the mop in our house too, although dd, 2, isnt that thorough

aaaah dont mention potty training!!

Interesting point re. potty training. She sometimes gets quite upset when she's done a poo.

god yes, at this age my dd2 absolutely had to change any item of clothing that got on it the slightest speck of food/water, whatever. Drove me nuts. She's 3 now and quite happy to be mucky.
