So my 8 month old dd has finally cut her first teeth which are the two bottom front ones. However, since theyve properly come through she doesnt seem that interested in eating. Could this be to do with her gum/teeth pain?

Shes on 3 meals a day and has always been a great eater so im worried about her now not eating as much...

Any advice would be great :-)

This is absolutely normal. Teething can lead to various changes in behaviour. Just keep her hydrated and she'll be fine - and she'll let you know when she wants to up her intake again.

Thank you very much nosey

Just one more question...

What do i do regarding brushing? Do i wait until they're a bit bigger?

We started brushing straight away. Just takes a few seconds at this stage

Definitely start brushing straight away! Twice a day with a 0-3 toothbrush and paste.

DS didn't cut his first until 8m either and you will have the constant going off their food woes every now and again until they are all through unfortunately! DS is 2.2 and we are finally cutting the top two very back molars!
