My daughter is 2.5 and I am at home with her all day with out too many problems but as soon as dad is around she doesn't want to know me she won't talk to me won't let me touch her and won't come near me. I just get filthy looks and the only thing I get is "no mummy" and " I don't love you mummy" I try to just ignore it but its really starting to get to me because when are alone together she is lovely to me (most of the time)... Not sure what to do :(

Nothing..it's only a phase. Some of them go for "No Daddy" and some "No Mummy"...it doesn't last! She's just getting in her Dad time and doesn't have the social grace to manage her manners! Grin

Let her do it....now mine are older I am SO happy when they only want Daddy because I can chill!

it's part of her burgeoning self-awareness, never take these things personally!

We've had this both ways. As others said, ignore and try not to take personally.

Mainly you roll with it, but it may help if daddy tells her not to be unkind to mummy. DD was like this at 2, but was never quite as bad after DH and both his parents told her off for it - I think it remains the only time the in-laws have told her off. Smile
