Almost 4 year old still having accidents

DD is almost 4 and we continue to have ongoing problems with knicker wetting. It's been on and off for months, and I don't know how to deal with it any more. She is dry more days than not at nursery (but probably has accidents once a week), but we get lots of accidents at home. We've tried taking away favourite things (mainly watching Octonauts) and reinforcing positive and rewards for a series of dry days. I've tried asking why she doesn't but don't always get an answer, sometimes she seems to know she's wet herself, but other times not. I'm out of ideas of how to deal with it. Any ideas welcome.

Go back to basics and take her to the toilet at regular intervals. Remind her that she hasn,t been. She may be forgetting or engrossed in something. Kids do find going to the loo a chore on occasion. Try taking her whenever u go.

She needs to be taken to the loo regually as she is at nursery, hence less accidents. Her bladder is most likely irritated by the weeting and once she is going regually it will calm down.
