My 8wk old dd refuses to sleep more than one hour that too have to be cuddled. I feed her n put her in her cot everyday at 830pm she used yo sleep longer hours but not anymore.
She cries till she pukes n just won't sleep. It's been a battle n both of us parents r frustrated.

Any suggestions r welcome

That sounds quite normal for an 8 week old. please don't leave your baby to cry until she pukes, pick her up. Look into safe co-sleeping, maybe a sidecar cot? It's early days and you're still getting used to it, believe me your body will adjust so you feel refreshed on less/broken sleep. Talk to other mums - this really is normal newborn behaviour. Good luck.

Don't make it a battle - she wants to be held, so hold her. She knows what she needs. 8 weeks is tiny. Get a sling and let her sleep on you in the day while you do stuff, and try to keep the cot for night-time if you don't want to co-cleep (also, feeding to sleep really works). This is normal newborn behaviour and totally appropriate.

I don't let her cry like that. She is good like that she won't cry unless hungry or nappy change needed.
But ssince last week she started power napping n small feeds. N only ssleep if u hoLd her. The min she is placed on the bed or cot or rocker wakes up. I Put my t shirt , her dads shirt , heat the room....I live with extended family n have been on the receiving end of lectures about spoilt babies n not pulling my weight in the house...
