14 month old small and weight stagnating

I wonder if anyone has any advice. My 14 month old seems healthy and meeting all the milestones for speech and mobility etc. However, I just weighed him and realised that he is the same weight as at 10 months (20 pounds). He has had a couple of bugs in this period that have put him off his food. He generally eats well but he is not totally crazy about food like some of his little friends. I think his weight is now 12 percentile where It was 50 % right up to 10 months. His height has been low since 3 months (around 10%) and that hasn't grown either(now around 5%). His father is tall and I'm 5foot 5. Should I be worried?

their weight can go a bit flat when they get mobile. id get him weighed again at clinic in a month and see if he has gained some when healthy.
neither of my dcs weighed 20lb till 18 months so i wouldnt think its too light.

Thanks familyfun for the re-assurance. I made the mistake of googling this and lo and behold a whole host of possible issues came up. I'm just hoping that now he is over his cold he will start piling on the pounds again.

Not sure I ever weighed ds after a year - and even then, it was just for curiosity and I don't think I plotted it till much later. Go by how they look and their milestones.

He's 12 now and he only gets weighed just before we go skiing, so that I can tell the guy who does the ski bindings.

It's one of those things that you do for a PFB and that you stop worrying about with following ones (so I'm told)

No you shouldn't be worrying. DS weighed more or less the same at 2 as he did at one (21-22lb). As others have said, they get quite chubby around a year and then start slimming down as they get more active. DS did start putting on weight again between 2 and 3. He is now grown up, still very slim but also very fit and sporty.
