ds 2.5yrs constantly chewing his fingers and biting nails.

Can I stop him? He isnt teething as he has had all his teeth for at least 6mths.He is biting his nails right down and is obsessed with them. His fingers look sore but he doesnt seem able to stop.

And so it goes on . . . no advice, but I wish I could get my 10 year old to stop. She chews the nails to nothing and tears the skin off until her fingers bleed. I am at a loss too.
